Most notable -- and potentially blasphemous -- is that this story stars Dick Grayson under the cowl instead of Bruce Wayne, who at the time was believed dead. They know that the well water has heavy iron content and they know my slate roof isn't going to last another 100 years. It is also laudable that Petersen does not stop short of the latest developments but attends to the introduction of the e–reader (Kindle, iPod, iPad) and the seemingly relentless growth of the appertaining market.

Bryan is of course a comics veteran by now, and his storytelling is impeccable, controlling pace with immense skill and care, telling us nearly everything with the visuals." A tiny, lovely book, with a whole universe tucked inside it. By comparison, the runtime of films featuring Iron Man — one of Marvel's heaviest hitting franchises — amounts to just 11 hours, including seven years worth of appearances in a mainline trilogy as well as supporting roles in "The Avengers" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."
